Research Area:
Dr. Chen Ping got his Ph.D. degree in Nanjing Agricultural University 2009.He is currently director of genetic modification of bast fiber crops research laboratory of IBFC, CAAS. As an associated researcher, Dr. Chen’s research focuses mainly on breeding of high quality bast fiber varieties, and genes of important agronomic traits in bast fiber crops, including fiber quality, plant architecture, abiotic stress and functional active ingredients.
