Research Area:

Main field: gene discovery and mining for important traits, and germplasm enhancement in bast fiber crops;

Other fields: evaluation and enhancement of germplasm in  Polygonatum odoratum;

Current research interest: Molecular mechanism of glandular trichome development in  Cannabis , synthesis and regulation of important secondary metabolites in bast fiber crops.
