Dr. Cheng got her Ph.D. degree in Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, 2013, and now as an associate professor in the Institute of Bast Fiber Crops, CAAS. Dr. Cheng engaged in research related to the extraction and application of plant natural fiber, and focused to the discovery, efficient expression, molecular modification and industrial application of polysaccharide hydrolase for bast fiber bio-degumming.
