Research objective: 

In order to accelerate the development of the mechanization of southern hilly cash crop production, make up for the shortcomings of agricultural mechanization in hilly and mountainous areas, and help the rural revitalization of hilly and mountainous areas, the team carried out research on the production technology and equipment of southern hilly cash crops.

Research topic:

 The team mainly carried out scientific research on the mechanized production of major southern characteristic cash crops and key technologies of intelligent agricultural machinery, and developed key technologies for the mechanized production of cash crops such as vegetables, sweet potato and corn. Secondly, it mainly carried out research on production technologies and equipment such as bast fiber crop planting, harvesting and bast fiber processing.

Research achievement: 

The team presided over the National Programs for Science and Technology Development, National Ministry of Agriculture Public Welfare Industry (agricultural) Research and more than 30 other projects. The team won more than 10 provincial, ministry and institution-level awards, authorized more than 100 national patents, published more than 100 scientific and technological papers. In addition, the team developed more than 20 kinds of bast fiber crops harvesting and processing equipment, and formed a series of mechanical equipment with independent intellectual property rights; the team developed 6 sets of harvesting equipment such as vegetables, sweet potatoes and corn, and carried out demonstration promotion and industrial application of production equipment of southern hilly characteristic cash crops.
